sigh.

my timetable's soooo uptight. I'm definitely not spoiled for choice. It's just one of the drawbacks of being a Jap major. But I'm trying my best to suit it to what I need, and even then I'm cutting it really close. I only have spaces, at the most, for 2 breadth modules. Oh my, pls don't tell me I have to do something ridiculous like take special sem. That's blasphemous.Ya know, I'll keep it here lar. I'll only take the modules I don't want to take if I'm forced to. Right now, I still have breadth modules to take so I can don't take stuff I don't want to take. Right now I"m actually taking Japanese philosophy (or, am planning to take.) and it'll replace one humans module, both of which are performance related. hmm. Not much difference really. It all depends on what's available actually. Sigh. but i should just grab it, because at the very least, it IS one of the more preferred modules for me.
Oh well, later lah. At least at the end of second year, apart from my language modules, I'll have cleared 1 humans, 1 core, 1 level 2000 and one ss module. it's a start. i'll have to frantically squeeze my major modules in 3rd and 4th year. it'll be the second time i'm taking 2 gems/breadths. now if only they'll release the time table for that.
I just felt like blogging, and it's a free country.
9:04 AM
Well, as free as you could ever be when you're a Singaporean, but thinking of it, I think it's decent enough.I suppose I must say that this is brought about largely because I was just reading the Sorceress Diaries' by Silvver Phoenix. She's amazing, she really is. I adore her writing. You know, fanfiction.net and wherever else hides a great wealth of authors with good potential. Like that original I read that should be made straight into a TV series. I'd say that publishers looking for new talent should look online. There's plenty of talent, although it hides amongst no-talent.
I suppose now if I was ever to write in a journal, I would completely give up. I hate writing. Because my handwriting's rubbish. (Reading Potter every night for the past week has absolutely rubbed off me.) I don't like writing because it's tiring, but I do love typing. And what I like is to express my thoughts, my feelings. When I have problems, if I don't write it out, I speak it out, reason with myself. Which is why I'm quite an avid fan of this whole blogging thing, and quite recommend it to those I teach. Even if your English sucks, it's just the whole coherency thing, learning to pen your thoughts that is the important process ...I've lost the word now....that is ....argh, I've really lost the word. It's the process of penning your thoughts down that you can really improve if you blog avidly. Learning to express yourself may sound trivial to a good many people but you'll be surprised that the majority of the world can't do that. Of course, I could be eating my words, seeing that blogging is such a phenomenon nowadays.
I've got an itch to do Weekly Goals like Hermione does in her sorceress diaries. I'm very convinced by now that Rowling goes to ff.net.
There's the things to Buy:
1) Floss. After my mom, I'm determined that I will keep my teeth as spick-and-span as I possibly can. When I was younger, I often forgot to brush them (wasn't that long ago, I have to admit.). But Mom's right, God gave us lots of things and we're often not grateful enough to look after them, so there. Same thing goes for my eyes.
2) Baby Carrots. They're a lot better snack than that Toblerone. I've just been around to check that Vanillin is okay to eat. That's the only thing I'm worried about, so upon seeing that it's fine I've taken it upon myself to nibble it. But I'm glad that I don't have a fixation for chocolate or candy bars. I rarely eat them. Really. When I do, it's often a one-off. Same thing for ice-creams and what not. It's just this family, we can't be bothered to stock up on this junk food thing. It's not a surprise really that we all have such good figures.
Things to Do:
1) I've been slacking off the backup of my laptop. I must put my mind to it and do it, I think I'll give it a go tomorrow morning.
2) Tafsir as usual.
3) Send Ces's letter.
4) Reply to Shakila.
Long term errands that must be done after the World Cup:
1) Replace drivers' licence.
2) Recovery.
That's about it really. I've got places to go, but they're not really errands, like the matric fair and stuff. I figure that I'll return that temporary card and update my matric card then, the library's likely to be open for the students and early muggers.
Oh, wonderful, it's past 12, and it is the 30th. Maybe the timetable's up by now, it'd be brilliant if it was.
Meanwhile I've decided to punish myself for reading so much Harry Potter this afternoon by reading Newsweek as the bedtime story, instead of Potter. Besides, yesterday had me reading till Mom woke up. Very bad. But it's because I've been lying around and not doing much. It's only if I go out that I'm properly tired to be able to fall asleep. Well, I suppose I should get around to replacing the bedspread. Soon, really. There are lots of breaks in between the Quarterfinals and everything, and everybody knows I never rush.

i just lost my f*cking post on the portugal netherlands match.f*ck blogger.

The other day I ate sashimi for the first time - i forgot that - rather, I remembered that people dip sashimi into something before eating it but i forgot what exactly - it was the soy sauce!so I ate the sashimi like that. I survived! I ate with cold ramen. And you know what? I love sashimi. Really. it's so refreshing!! I have no idea what fish I was given but it was Great. I'm putting it on my list of favourites. Gosh, Alhamdulillah belum lagi ajal aku....

just got the mood to ramble. That's the thing about this blog. That's the thing about blogger really. That you can ramble and you don't worry about spamming pages or whatnot. I really need this blog. It's my personal space.
The space in which I can let out all my feelings without feeling as if I'm reaching out for someone, because i cannot stand the idea of being weak. I hate being weak, I hate feeling pathetic, I hate feeling as if I need people, and I'm determined that I will not need people. It's nothing, it's just my own survival tactic. I can't help it - because when they let you down, it's your own fault for trusting them. I mean, it's all very nice to trust people, but you see in the end you can only cushion your fall if you expect nothing from them - that's why. I don't want to expect anything from anybody, that's why I distance myself as far as possible from letting people see me. I mean I tell them people stuff sure, when they ask, like my problems and stuff, but I hate letting people see me raw, torn, scarred and hurt. I feel pathetic if I do that. If people ask me, or they tell me it's okay, then maybe I do invite them into my confidences and let it all out. But after which I always regret. So as far as possible I've always tried my best to refrain from doing it. But I suppose last semester, when I let myself believe in someone and when he left me and caught me unaware, I sort of fell apart - because I let my guard down. After so many years, I had let my guard down.
I suppose it was difficult for me to accept - that I had let myself become so vulnerable. So I sort of ....the pain just kept on pouring out and it was everywhere - I felt as if I was going to screw myself up if I kept it in like I always do. Not keep it in. But - you know, just tell God and be done with it. I guess because before that all my problems I'd always seen them with my usual principle of "don't expect nothing from nobody." but when I forgot that, I don't know, I just went mental and I was completely beside myself. Now that I think back, it was so completely uncharacteristic. Letting all the pain pour out like that - I think what makes it so bad was that I almost couldn't believe myself, like how had I fallen for it? I was so proud of my demeanour, of my ability to be emotionally strong that the one time I opened up and got shot right through, it was like being shot twice in the face. And I just sort of - gave up and spilled, spilled everything.
Then when I managed to look at it, I realised that I had really really let myself change. I had been so proud of my emotional strength. I was ashamed that I had allowed such a terrible weakness overcome me. Could I ever be as strong as I had been? I believe so. I mean, other wise how do I survive?
So that got me round to thinking - why do I feel so painful seeing and thinking about it? Then I remember - I'm human after all. I'm not made out of stone, as my mother believes - I do harbour feelings, God gave them to me. But logic will win. Scars need time to disappear.
I have a good friend who believes very strongly in my emotional strength, that he comes to me for advice all the time. My mother confides in me, my sister does. My friends come to me. But that particular friend, he, never having seen me during that period of time, still holds on to the believe that I'm a tough chick, and you can't imagine how important it is to me that there is at least one person who at least believes unwaveringly that I'm an emotional stronghold. Because if someone believes it, that means I can make it true. But even if he doesn't believe it, I can still make it come true, but it helps that he has such a confidence about me.
I'm proud of who I am. or who I was and who I want to be. I'm a person who couldn't care less, who doesn't need anybody to survive emotionally. I'm the kind of person who you can cut many times, but I won't care because I don't expect anything more than that. It's okay for you to hurt me, because it doesn't matter to me. My emotions are made of - well, even if people mess around with it, I can forgo it, I can overlook it, because it doesn't matter to me.
Sometimes I feel as if the person I'd like to see right now is Kak Mumtaz. She believes in me too. She believes that I'm very mature for my age, that I have the mental toughness that not many people twice my age have. It's as if it would be reassuring that I can be that tough, because all alone it I feel a bit of a dip in confidence.
But then again, why do I need them? Why should I be any less confident that before? I'm me. If there was one thing I had - even though I may be no genius, I may not have any unique talent - I believed in myself to be able to be the person that I aim to be - emotionally tough. My sister once asked me where the heck I get my confidence from. I don't know. I have a pretty decent life, I've toughed out a few emotional battles and I was able to get through them pretty well, better than most people. But no, it's not that I don't know where I get it from. I know very well where I get it from. It's not from within me - it's because I know He is always with me. He'll never leave me, that's why I'm so confident that I can do this - because He is with me and He is the Greatest Helper of them all.
....sometimes I really have to laugh. I was that pathetic? Oh my god. This is so goddamn awfully funny....I was such an idiot! But anyway it was a good lesson. I'll be more careful next time. And I won't make any more exceptions to the little shield I've build, had torn down and reconstructed around my mental and emotional strength.
aaah the stupid things I do.
1:26 AM
C'est le 24eme de jun (okay, I forgot what june is in French.) Et c'est le birthday (I don't know this either.) d'homme (did I even mix this correct? should it be du homme?) j'aime. Oui oui, c'est le footballeur de japon, Nakamura Shunsuke. (I wonder what he'll say if he googles his name and sees this awful entry? Well, I doubt footballers do that. I think they have a much more interesting life than to google their names.) Alors, je voudrais ....what the heck is "say" in french? Arrrrgh. Fine!O-tanjoubi omedetou gozaimasu, Nakamura-san. Itsumo shiawase ni arimasu you ni (Learnt that from Fujita-san! Hahaha!), soshite tsugi no World Cup de ganbatte kudasai! I hope that on your 32nd birthday, you'll get a much better birthday present. Meanwhile, all the best as you play football in Celtics, and I hope the Celtics will win as long as you're there.
Hahahahahahaa. I don't know why. I've suddenly developed a huge love for him. He's so adorable when he smiles, and I love watching him play, because he's just soooo interesting when he gets the ball. The way he handles it is unique. And he's not very aggressive, which is difficile to find in footballeurs, and it's endearing how he's so atypically not agressive.
As I've said, in mourning I swore off MSN and eljay. Well, meaning I didn't go online, nor did I blog on eljay, but I did stop by my journal. AC is probably wondering who the heck I've just dedicated a love message to.
For the rest of the World Cup, I've also plastered the Japanese team (but it's not all the regs. Oh well, at least Nakamura-san's there.) on my desktop. After which I shall replace it with a wallpaper of Nakamura-san, which will stay till, um, indefinitely.
I'm also planning to buy a map of Japan and plaster it on my bedroom wall. I figure I'm going to need to know the geography better because well, it's my major after all. I've already forgotten which one's the Ryukyu, Kyushu and whatever. I only remember Honshu's the main island.
It'll replace the D's List poster I have. Instead of that, I'm going to paste my newly-acquired (soon) Dean's List Cert, which will induce me to work hard to stay on the Dean's List.
But oh man, the hard work. I worked - well not my ass off, but pretty hard for my standards last semester. I figure I can put in even more work, seeing as I'm not going to be partaking in any activities by PBM or MS, but only silat, which should just be a stress-reliever. I won't be hanging out with the gang, meaning lesser time spent gambolling around Orchard, probably, or else, solitary trips which will end faster. I guess it's a good thing both of my best friends are hitched, I'm less likely to hang out with them and would hang out with myself rather as they smooch around - ok, maybe not - with their respective darlings. Of course, there's my best friend's wedding to plan, but I think that'll be ok.
I know, I mean, no WORLD CUP updates? But I haven't been watching matches lately (Dad's snoozing and I don't think he'd hardly appreciate me sneaking in to have a watchie) so I have nothing to say, no review no whatever.
I was thinking today about me and dreaming. I have so many dreams, but I guess there's a very clear line between the dreams that I'm dead set on achieving - my life goals - and the dreams that I'm dreaming just for fun, as a distraction, as a way to ease a little the loneliness. I mean, I'm human after all. I may be a bit weird seeing as I don't seek people's company, but rather, I seek the company of things, and myself. But I still need something to occupy my mind when I'm lonely, and those would be the fantasy dreams I dream, like meeting my dream guy.
But I know that if he's there, I have no idea who the heck is he. Right now, I"m just having fun imagining it to be someone that I'm madly in love with (as if it isn't obvious who he is) just for the heck of it. I know better than to sit around and dwell about who I might end up with in the future, because God may have other things planned for me that I don't know (of course He does, really.) . Instead of depressing and time-wasting things like that, I'd rather also dream and plan for my life later, going to Europe, UIA, Egypt and all that. None of my plans include a guy or marriage.
Because I'm totally leaving it up to Him. I don't really particularly care, but I have to live independently too, without hanging it all on some particular guy whom I don't even know who it might be. So if he' s not going to make himself known in the next 10, 20, 30 whatever years, it won't matter much because I've got those years planned. If I have a husband, the husband that I want, then Alhamdulillah. If I don't, then it's alright, I'll find my way to Him myself - which I would do anyway, even with a husband.
Yeah. Been pondering.
okay, tired of blogging.
mou owatta.
5:46 AM
so that's it.and Japan bows out of the world cup - quite gracefully.
At least they weren't disgustingly sloppy. I daresay if they were as sloppy as they had been during the Croatia match, it would have been tons more worse.
Yes, I know. It's Brazil's bench. They should have been able to do better.
But I'll daresay Brazil's benchwarmers are no pushovers - they're the future of Brazil.
My hero was a bit off form. He wasn't playing as brilliantly as he was during Australia and Croatia - he was the only decent one in croatia, for god's sake- but i forgive him, he's still alright. his creativity a bit stifled but it's difficult. Now I'm reduced to stalking him.
But today was quite wonderful to watch - Inamoto, Tamada and Nakata in top form. It's a pity Miyamoto's off. I think Japan could have done brilliantly, if everyone else was in sterling form either. Oh yeah, I forgot dear ol' Alex - he was brilliant too. So at least that was alright.
I couldn't watch the last 15 minutes, but who the heck wants to see Ronaldo score a fourth? It was probably some easy giveaway.
eh? was it him? Ah who cares.
I think Oguro was a mistake, shouldn't have taken Ogasawara off. Takahara - pity, he's one of the better ones.
All in all, it's a pity that Japan has such an early exit, them having done quite well during the qualifiers. Still, it's too bad they weren't performing at their peak when they needed to the most. I think Zico regrets not putting in Inamoto from the very beginning. Saving the best for the last works, but not when you're trying to qualify for the final 16. It was too late by then, subbing in Inamoto with less than 10 minutes left. You can see a hell of a difference between a game with Inamoto and a game without him. Together with Nakata, they are formidable - very agressive and really brilliant and getting possession.
My darling is too gentlemanly to try and get the ball - you can see how he plays, it's obvious he's the kind of person who never gets booked. I think he's never fouled in his whole life. Pity. But I don't blame him, he's kind of on the small side.
Sigh. I'll never get to see him again. I miss you already! hahahaha!!
*sniff* and coincidentally, tomorrow is his friggin' birthday. It's too bad - was that why he seemed so distracted? I even thought he was sick! hhahahaa. Oh well. Happy Birthday to the footballeur de ma vie.
Sigh. Sigh. Sigh.
Anyway, in mourning for Japan, I'm swearing off LJ and MSN till the playoffs are over. (yeah, fine, it's only one day. But I refuse to be in communication with anybody during this time when we get to see who makes the final 16, even as Japan makes their way home.
I'm not cutting the other half of my hair 'cos my hero wasn't on form - doesn't warrant me sacrificing my Rukia do.

Someone once said that Czech shouldn't be put on a pedestal just because they beat USA hands down 3 - 0. I tend to disagree. So why has Czech performed so disappointingly?
They were given a ranking of 2 by FIFA. Czech is no pushover.
USA is no pushover either.
When Italy only managed to draw USA, they managed to stay on their pedestal.
You must understand that football teams have their peaks, their off days and so on. Skills dip, players change.
Ghana has European based players, and as expected, they have played very well, only running out of luck in their first game. Just because they conceded two goals doesn't mean a thing, because it's clear, at least to me, that Ghana played level with Italy. They were, at the very least, on equal footing.
Italy, on the other hand - I don't know what happened to them in the USA game, but from the matches I've watched so far, they deserve their reputation.
Czech - I was impressed by them, and I still believe that they are a strong team. So what happened today?
Well there WAS that send off of polak. Polak is a key player in Czech - he's a huge loss. I believe Polak made a mistake and he knew it too. Koller wasn't around either. Borovsky was also substituted, as was Baros. Many key players off, we've got effectively a team that plays decently but cannot outclass Italy.
Ghana - struggling. Could be complacency, off game. But a team that has displayed such beautiful football against USA - it was the most impressive teamplay I've seen to boot. USA may not be of Italy class, but they are not terrible either. If you watch their games, they put up a decent fight.
I have a tendency to believe that Czech, unfortunately, reached the peak of their form a bit too early and are unable to sustain it. It's a huge pity, but it does happen. The strongest teams are those who are in peak all the time, but football teams are dynamic. Even if you leave them be.
But looking at their condition, I give my blessings for Ghana and Italy to advance. I must admit that Ghana packs a damn good fight. They get better all the time, and I love their goal-hungry attitude. Hats off to them. We'll have to see how they fare against Brazil. I'm torn because I'd like to see more of Brazil, but Ghana puts in such hard work that it would be sad if they lost as well.
I'll never write a team who has performed well off. Teams that show good performance show that they have the potential to be that good. Of course, they're bested by teams who show good performance more often, which is perfectly logical, but I think it's worthy of noting - their potential, that is.
Group of Death - F.
As I've said, I'm willing to butch my hair if Japan wins Brazil, because they need something to save their faces. Brazil is already in. Japan is already out. Because Brazil's won 2.
The fight is, therefore, for second place.
Australia however, having beaten Japan, will get second place - depending on goal difference. If Croatia can beat them by more than 2 goals, they'll be in, Aussie'll be out.
Even if Japan beats Brazil - say Croatia beat Aussie - then both Croatia and Japan will have lost one, won one, drawn one. Then goal difference will matter. Japan will have to kick Brazil's ass something stupid, for them to make it in because their GA is way more than Croatia.
If Aussie beats Croatia - no hope.
It's a tricky goddamn game, and in the first place, it's difficult enough to whip Brazil. But by some lucky stroke - God willing - if Japan wins, I will butch my hair.
But Iwill say this of Australia. They are a decent team who put up a decent fight. I may hate Australia a lot - but I must admit that I hate Viduka. That is the main reason I hate Australia to the core. He pissed me off once, I can't remember when. Him aside, I would be happy to let Australia make it to final 16.
But he IS there. So I am banking on Croatia not to foul up like they did Japan. Rather Croatia than Australia, even if not Japan.
Ya know, I'll even give this much. If Japan plays well, worthy of Japan, I'll still butch my hair. If they screw up like they did Croatia, I'll just cry.
Another thought - Cech's a notch above Kawaguchi, if ya ask me to compare. Kawaguchi's as good as the average WC-level keeper- international class. Cech's shown pretty good instinct, better judgement and less stress under pressure. today was one terrible mistake - but it was a defender's mistake too and I don't blame him go going forward because the chances of a 2 on 1 close up is also as slim, so it would be better for him to go forward. Besides it was a defending mistake that it happened. Not Cech's fault. keepers have to make the most pressing of decisions sometimes. i'm still all for Cech for GK of the WC. but of course, we've got to see the rest - the brazilian one is not half bad but he hasn't been tested enough.
my playlist.
6:16 AM
I'm hooked on Fort Minor's Where'd You Go, amongst others:1) unwell - Matchbox 20
I know it's an old song, but I like the introduction. Very nice. Matchbox 20 songs are bound to be very listenable - the kind that appeal to everyone. You couldn't say the same for, say, Blink 182 or Ellegarden. Some people find them too loud.
2) Best I Ever Had - Vertical Horizon
When I was a teenager, I thought (OH MY GOD, I'M OLD ENOUGH TO SAY THAT.) that their name was really catchy. Right now, I think it's a lame attempt at being catchy. I'd rather Red Hot Chili Peppers.
3) Yellow - Coldplay
Old favourite. Listening to Coldplay makes you feel mature.
4) Dumpweed - Blink 182
Old favourite. Blink 182 used to be my favourite band.
But when I started to turn over a new leaf, I decided that they were too vulgar. *sniff* Ellegarden has nice clean lyrics, but unfortunately, they have the occasional swear a few songs. Well, a lot better than nothing. You can't all be perfect.
Now I'm listening to Verve Pipe- We Were Merely Freshmen.
Whiling the time away just listening to old songs. Nostalgic, they are.
waiting for my hands to dry.
5:44 AM
I didn't catch no match but here are the scores:Netherlands - Argentina - 0 - 0
SnM - I.C - 2 - 3 (I think, if my memory isn't failing me.)
No review of anything. It's already been done.
Group C
9:13 AM
Group C was a tussle between Mexico and Angola. Since Mexico and Angola had drawn, and Angola had been beaten 1 - 0 by Portugal and Mexico had beaten Iran 2 - 1, Angola could actually make it through to final 16 by whipping Iran, and if Portugal whipped Mexico.Unfortunately, Iran, having nothing to lose (having already lost), were not about to give up the game easily (they'd have looked like total wimps! Tha's tha spirit!) gave Angola some trouble. And I'm glad they did. Angola doesn't deserve to go to the final 16 much. They've got to whip their striking into better shape. Mexico performs better, being able to strike much better. They utilize their chances better.
Of course, that ran a bit to the contrary for today's match, but of course it' s Portugal we're talking. Of course, it's actually Portugal's bench they were playing, but still. Actually I thought that was a pity. I think it'd have been worse if they had teh regulars playing. But Portugal's bench, against Mexico, seems decent. With Portugal's main playas all benched with yellows, they had no choice, but the benchers have proved themselves to be alright.
Two penalties in a game - pretty interesting. Mexico couldn't make theirs (Bravo missed), which was a huge pity - they felt that too. And quite a few chances, missed. They were beginning to look a bit like Japan, except that Japan's mistakes are more atrocious.
But anyway, in the end, it's all decided for this group. The Iranians managed to salvage a bit of themselves and drew with Angola, putting them out of the game, and Mexico was able to scrape through to final 16 with a 2 - 1 loss to Portugal.
Portugal's awfully fouled up though - lotta fouls they've got there. Let's see what happens next.
Group D - another undecided, except for Argentina. Holland, having drawn, need to win Argentina tomorrow. Woops, my memory is failing me. I just checked - I have the wrong group, Holland won against SnM - I thought they'd drawn. Well they won, so no matter what, they're in. It's just a matter of placing now. But I think they'll do fine really. Portugal's benched like no other. They'll survive - might be all down to penalties in the final 16. Kind of close match.
I'm too afraid.
I've decided that if Japan wins Brazil, I'll cut my hair. Butch. *sniff* As a sign of loyalty. If they lose, I'll....trim the other side, losing my Rukia look - nah, not worth it. If they lose, I'll just, uh - damn, I have to do something, I don't know what. Ah heck, I'll figure it out. Maybe I'll mourn by not blogging for a week or something (in the public blog, not here.)
Updates
3:42 AM
I'd no idea that the last matches for Group B were yesterday at 3 am, not today. So I missed the England-Sweden game. But I saw a bit of it when I came home this afternoon for a bit. According to the commentator, England was playing really well. But well, final score 2 - 2, Cole, Gerrard for England. Gerrard scored after Sweden had gotten an equaliser of Cole's lead. Hhahhaha! I love Gerrard forever. Short range goal, this one. Must have been in the right position.
So England remains at the top, since Sweden had another draw game with, um, I can't remember. Paraguay? And England had won its previous two. So yeah. England will see Ecuador, and Sweden will meet Germany. The Sweden - Germany game will be interesting. Germany, if they play as they played yesterday, will be a shoo-in. If.
As for TnT and Paraguay, 2-0. Hoooold on. Oh yeah, okay. Paraguay lost one while Sweden lost none, only had 2 draws and a win I think, against Paraguay 1-0. Drawing gives you a point while losing doesn't, so that gives Sweden a point over Paraguay. Argh, I can't figure out the damn tables.
I'm checking group standings. Yeah. I'm right.
So even though Sweden's only had one win and it's 1-0, unfortunately Paraguay has had 2 losses so GD isn't going to make up for anything. Pity.
Actually - no.
Next up is Group C and D - Argentina's group and Portugal's group, if we're talking about the big playas. Argentina whipped SnM, I think, how much..? I can't remember. They'll be playing the Dutch, and Portugal be playing Mexico. It's always the top 2 playing - I think they designed it that way, whoever they expected to be top 2 they saved it for the last. Unfortunately for Group F that isn't the case *sniff*.
Well, I'll be able to catch the Portugal game, but not Argentina - be out tmr. Pity, I"ve been wanting to catch Argentina for some time! I haven't been able to catch anybody from Group C except the Dutch and the, um, SnM. Because that was the only match I watched from Group C. They have such inconvenient timings.
I should hole myself up during the world cup, but oh well - I need to fork out a living somehow. At least I survived my bout of A level teaching. Now's just the normal jobs. Sigh. Oh well. I do need the money to survive - I need to replace my chipped lenses.
Till then.
Hooked!

I'm currently hooked on Where'd You Go by Fort Minor ft. somebody. It's...umm...well, duh. I mean..."Where'd you go? I miss you so - seems like it's been forever, that you've been gone."and the "anything to get you out of my mind" - anything - even stop hanging out with my friends.
gaaah i forgot.
9:14 AM
Sorry sorry!Poland Costa Rica - 2 - 1.
Hmm, Costa Rica is at the bottom of the table, but Poland managed to win some face. But it's a pity. They could have gotten to the final 16 if Ecuador had won instead. Poor things. Didn't catch this match though, and probably won't have the chance to.
See ya tmr!
And it's decided! ...not.
9:02 AM
Let's go with Spain and Tunisia first.Tunisia put up quite the fight! They led 1 - 0 till Raul equalised in the 70th minute or so. But then Torres had to shoot and they gave away a penalty, so final score 3 - 1. It was rather reminiscent of the Japan-Australia match, but the latter was much worse.
Spain was rather disappointing at first, but they picked up speed towards the end (it's rare that teams in the position of hanging on to a 1 - 0 lead and who get equalised and even topped can get back the mental determination to wrestle the lead back, with all the fatigue and everything.) Not too bad, they're definitely the Spain we know back in '02. But I'll credit Tunisia for putting up a decent fight. I fell asleep quite a lot, so I can't say much. Only woke up to catch them goals from Spain. oh and from Tunisia - I was awake then too.
Then finally! Teh deciding matches for group A. Germany's secured top position now beating Ecuador 3 - 0. Disappointing. I only managed to catch the second half. But you know, I don't remember Ecuador sucking so bad, nor Germany being that good. Germany put up one hell of a defense, even tougher than Poland or Costa Rica. And they're fast, very fast. Speed of the Hitler days. Wahahaahah! But this is looking more like the World Cup finalist of '02! They did very well, and Ecuador did disappointingly - I'm wondering if it could be that they are resting on their laurels. They made many mistakes, mistakes which rankled of a loss of determination. It's almost as if they couldn't be bothered - or weren't going all out. Disappointing. And here I thought Ecuador could win on determination. They certainly showed good stuff beforehand.
But really, I don't think they have much to worry about. The most likely winners of Group B are England and Sweden. Neither are particularly as awe-inspiring or as scary as Brazil. I think Ecuador, if they can get back their determination, can whip some English ass.
Speaking of which, I think Cafu rules. I just love his attitude. He never ever fights back with teh referee. There you go, a man of experience. He knows it doesn't pay. He grins it off and shakes hands and he isn't even being sarcastic. He's wonderful. It was a waste in the Brazil-Aussie match that after all that pride-swallowing his little team-mate had to spoil it off by protesting. Your captain's a good example, follow him, smartass. Ronaldinho's so good natured too, but I think Cafu ruleth.
Tomorrow will be the Group B deciding matches. Don't gamble, it's unhealthy!

I figure I should get something more interesting for a Title. Or this will begin to look like a soccer blog.Okay - Saudi Arabia vs Ukraine - 0 -4.
Shocking. But I missed the Spain Ukraine game. I should have watched that. If Ukraine is really that much better, I can only pity the Tunisians.
Then again, it could be complacency on the Saudis' part, after seeing Ukraine thrashed 6 - 0. Thing about football is it just goes up and down. Like Croatia - supposedly good but was disappointing - or Japan, performed sterlingly at Qualifiers and made too many mistakes - that's why I don't usually base my loyalty on skills. You have off days and whatnot. I base it on other stuff.
Saudi's defence - absolutely gaping. Striking - not enough support from team-mates, a lot of mistakes. Ukraininan defense looked impenetrable compared to theirs. Has it always been like this, or did the early goal demoralise them into scattering? I don't know, I wasn't compelled to watch. I kept hopping out to watch LOTR. Ukrainian showed better support and teamwork. I'm inclined to think Saudi can be better. We'll have to see the Spain and Tunisia game later. I've not checked the score yet to put some suspense in it.
We're having simultaneous games from now on for the last round. I won't be able to catch Germany Ecuador or Costa Rica Poland. Not even the reruns, be out the whole day. Pity, I wanted to catch Germany Ecuador at least.
World Cup Update
8:01 AM
France Korea - 1 - 1. (Henry, can't remember)I fell asleep so I can't say much. Except that it's not riveting. It could have been the time of day, but from reports France hasn't been riveting. I'm not particularly impressed by Korea either. I think that Japan's a lot more pleasurable to watch but they made too many mistakes, which is too bad. Also, they've got Brazil to contend with, and the toughest in Group G looks like France who's not being too tough right now, or Switzerland, which is still not in the class of Brazil. maybe Australia-class, or a bit better or worse, depending on the day.
Suisse vs Togo - 2 - 0.
Togo doesn't have the experience Suisse do, according to comments, but they're not half bad either, putting up a decent fight. Their striking's almost on par with Suisse, they worried Suisse quite a bit. But I think the biggest difference is the defence. Suisse defense is rock solid, they converge on Togo players like nothing and it's scary to watch. It's almost pitiful. It's as rock solid as Czech in the previous match.
But they did try.
Now Suisse having had one win and one draw will be on the same level as Korea, the two of them taking the top 2 places. France, having had 2 draws will be third, and Togo will be fourth with 2 losses. If France is going to have a difficult time now. If they want to make it to the final 16, they'll have to hope that either Swiss or Korea will lose by at least one goal and they have to win by at least 2 goals at Togo. Togo, even if they win France, cannot help but deal with 2 losses so the most they can do is move to the third placing, having been beaten by both the Koreans and Swiss. But looking at France's condition they might actually make the French struggle a bit. France is just not gelling properly yet. Yet? Can they ever do it?
Later, it's Saudi Arabia vs Ukraine. Saudi's gotta win this one if they want to secure second placing, having drawn against Tunisia previously. Ukraine having been whipped 6 - 0 suffer from disgusting GD disadvantage and they'll need a similar spectacular win to neutralise this.
Spain will play tunisia. Spain can afford to draw, but Tunisia will need to win. But I think Spain seems to be rather goal-hungry - that's a good thing - we'll see whether Spain is really that good, or Ukraine is really that bad. But Saudis cannot afford to underestimate Ukraine. It will lead to many bad mistakes.
After these two matches, we'll be going through the last round of playoffs before the final 16 are decided. Stay tuned! till then.
World Cup Update
12:36 AM
Brazil Australia - 2 - 0 (Adriano, Fred (sub))I am so thankful. I was hoping for a 2 - 0 win at the very least. It could have been a 4 - 0 but Kaka screwed up. Oh well, he's not too bad.
Finally I've seen Brazil play. I am sooo afraid for Japan. They outclass any other team I've seen so far, with the possible exception of Ecuador. Ecuador's quite the team really. Brazil's tons flashier but no team creates chances and utilizes them like Ecuador does. brazil has the occasional mistake, but they're still a pleasure to watch because they're so creative tactics-wise. Ronaldo is losing his touch but he's still alright, decent enough. Ronaldinho's fun, so is Cafu, Carlos and the usual gang.
I am amazed that Croatia managed to hold the forte against Brazil. Amazing! They must have played tons better as compared to with Japan yesterday, and add that to Japan's lucky pot and they're really one helluva lucky team. I'm glad to see Australia outclassed by Brazil, because they really aren't in Brazil's league. They're all Real players mostly aren't they? hahahahhaa. 'slike playing with your usual team.
Ball handling Australia is really poor. Brazil handles the ball marvelously. I wish I'd caught the Croatia brazil match. I think it must have been disappointing to see the way Croatia played yesterday, because they must be tons better if they could hold up against Brazil that well. But Brazil apparently used to be a lot better too. Japan will need more than luck to avoid a humiliating defeat.
Now since Australia has lost 2-0, they may end third if Croatia manages to beat them. Croatia Has to beat them to get in. So does Japan, but I think Japan's going home. Oh well, pleasure watching Nakamura. They tried but they'll need a lot more than what they have right now to make it anywhere. More determination, more stamina, more creativity. So we're all banking on Croatia and Australia now - nobody's looking at Japan anymore - Croatia must win.
Finally, a game I can be neutral about - France and Korea. I hate both, I don't really care who wins or loses. I just wanna watch some joga bonito.
Kinou no ban dareka ga uchi ni kiita..."is the Japan goalkeeper good?"
Here's my take on this. He performed brilliantly last night, but I wouldn't say he's Brilliant. Because if he really is, he wouldn't have made the mistakes he did the last game. Taking the last game into account, he's just a decent goalkeeper, at the most, just above average. brilliant goalkeepers must have an unwavering instinct for the ball, no matter under what pressure, with minimal mistakes in judgement. Kawaguchi displayed stress under pressure, crucial misjudgements - something that normal goalkeepers would be guilty of, but a really excellent 'keeper wouldn't be. I've yet to see that really excellent 'keeper but the one that comes closest is Cech. He's a notch above Kawaguchi, displaying excellent judgement most of the time and fewer mistakes.
I credit kawaguchi for saving the penalty. but the penalty was from an average striker. Owen wouldn't have missed, Kawaguchi could barely have saved an Owen penalty because world class strikers would have the skill and courage to put in a high powered ball right on target and not miss. Yesterday's striker was playing it safe and he put in an average speed shot on ground. On the ground it's probably a tad easier to save ( being goalie on several accounts, I will admit that it's easier to save ground shots than air shots because you really need to be impeccable with your timing with air shots because there's so much more space to cover). He wasn't banking on the fact that Kawaguchi's a decent goalkeeper. I'll say that other goalkeepers would have had a decent chance at saving that penalty too. Kawaguchi was skilled enough and lucky enough to save an average shot.
So I'd put him on a pedestal for performing under pressure, but I'll have you bear in mind that that shot wasn't the best of shots.
But he is the best japan's got, probably the best in Asia. But I think he might have potential, because he has good instinct and his judging capabilities can probably be honed.
Back to Japan - Nakamura as a playmaker is decent. He's got creativity but he can be a little bit more inspired. He's good too, always seeking to improve. I think he's got plenty of potential seeing what he gives in every game - he does try his best and he does display the knack for creativity especially when it comes to handling the ball. I love the way he staggers his running - when he's cornered, he does exactly the opposite of what you'd expect - instead of speeding up to outrun, he slows down to outwit and he's off in another direction. I love that little trick of his. Pity they didn't have him on last 4 years, if he was as good as he is now Japan might have made it to third round.
okay. till then. cheers.

Japan vs Croatia: The Dreaded Game : NIL NIL.I don't know. It's like they're all having off days. Not to mention there were mistakes abound. But Japan's lucky. I'm thankful for that. It really could have been a lot worse.
Kawaguchi is the man of the day, having saved a penalty. The Penalty. But if you ask me, the guy kickin' it could have put in a lot more power. But Penalties are extremely difficult in the first place. It's pressure on both the keeper and the kicker. More on the keeper, seeing that saved penalties are like miracles.
He's also the comedian of the day, having day dreamed for a bit. He's quite funny.
I've decided that I'm in love with Nakamura Shunsuke. I used to be, actually - with the actor. But Nakamura-san is adorable when he smiles. And he plays decently!!!!! He can be really good, and he makes few mistakes, and even then it's when he's tired. Otherwise, he's really amazing when he's handling the ball - he keeps it wonderfully even under pressure, and he has wonderful staggered dribbling which throws Croatian defense off. He's just so...and he resembles Hosomi-san hahahhhahhaa. I like Nakata fine, he's a solid midfielder right there with Gerrard, and when he's in top form he's deadly accurate. If I were a defender, I'd be pissing my pants if he's got possession.
Nakamura Shunsuke is nice to watch ^3333
What else? I think it was a mistake putting Oguro in. That late, you can't make switches which can count. Well it wasn't a mistake really, it was just ineffective. And the two guys Zico took off- Fukunishi and Yanagisawa? Yanagisawa was alright, and so was Fukunishi.
Alex made a lotta mistakes today! He wasn't the only one.
What else - Miyamoto's alright, although giving away that penalty must have been pretty tough on him.
But today's performance was lacklustre, even worse than with Australia. At least that was nice to watch. Today was just plain painful, what with the goddamn mistakes and all. It's like a really really terrible day. Like they've already given up.
Croatia was not the stable defense I'd envisioned, after holding the forte against Brazil. Disappointing too. And they were unlucky - very. It's kinda sad, missing a penalty. What else? They really could have done a lot better, but it was just like Ghana vs Italy - luck not on their side. Let's hope they're a lot luckier against Australia.
I support Japan for life, no matter how many mistakes they make. I'm Asian! I have to support them, and I should get used to it if I'm going to marry a Japanese. It's a question of loyalty.
World Cup Update
2:10 AM
Yeah yeah. I found out, accidentally, That Italy and USA had a 1 - 1 draw.Absolutely disappointing. All I can say is it's either complacency or an off day. I want to watch to see which it is, but then again, I don't really feel like watching USA feeling happy over a draw, or watching sloppy Italian football. Well I don't have a choice, Dad took over the telly.
But contrary, I do think that Czech has a chance. Ghana did overwhlem them, but between Ghana and USA there is a stark difference. Because Czech actually made use of the chance that USA sucks shows that Czech is a team who tries hard, and has potential. They were struggling fairly against Ghana, but they could have been much worse off, because Ghana is on par with Italy, only luckless when they lost. I believe that although Czech is not of the same class as Italy or Ghana, they do try very hard and they have marvellous players, or at least, stable players of Gerrard level like that baldie whom I forgot what his name was. Rosicki can be good if he's given good service, like Owen. You must remember that the Italian Serie A is one of the more popular leagues, and Ghana's players are of European base. Czech - difficult to compare, but considering all their backgrounds they are doing well. If they really try, I believe they can put up a decent fight, given some luck as well.
No really good team will waste any chances they have. How good can italy be if they wasted such a good chance like USA to get ahead? Big names don't equate to anything, which is why I can't stand blind supporting of big names and I fervently do not do it. Of course I support teams based on an even more ridiculous basis, like loyalty, but because a team's skills go up and down fairly often I find it hard to say that a certain team will always be one of the best ones in a league. I support England out of loyalty to Gerrard, Japan because it will be my future home, and Czech because they try very hard. I don't believe for a second that any of these teams can actually make it to the finals but some of the teams really do try very hard, like Czech and Japan. England has a huge attitude problem sometimes. I hate supporting teams like Brazil and Portugal - Portugal who's overrated because of one Figo who's gonna grow old soon anyway and Brazil who's just too full of themselves. I thought their World Cup in '02 was a piece of shit. They may have many so called world-class players, but I don't see them ringing goals off Croatia.
Argentina's a more stable team if you want to say so, even Spain is more impressive. Teams that just don't take their chances don't have my respect and I don't think they should be around. People who thought that the last World Cup had many upsets - the underdog teams that managed to get there worked hard to, and they were able to use their luck to their advantage. Not many top teams can say that. Luck is important in any sport, it's whether you make use of your opportunities and whether you have the skill to create those opportunities. You may have all the skill in the world but if you didn't exploit it enough to beat some underdog team, how good can you be?
Frankly I'm sick of people just expecting the big names to go into the final 16. I love upsets in a World Cup. Because big names are just big names, that's all they are. If some underdog team were lucky and were determined enough, then I'll be happy to watch them play. The best joga bonito to watch is when determination rankles in the play.

Just got back from the Czech Ghana game.1) Czechslovakia vs Ghana: 0 - 2, Jyan 2', I-can't-remember, second half, sometime half way.
I'm beginning to rethink that it could be very possible that Czech may be good, but only because USA sucked so badly. But you must remember that Ghana and Italy played very on par, and Ghana is on Italy's level, so it may be understandable.
I didn't catch the first half much, but Ghana obviously had the upper hand in controlling the ball within the team. Czech was alright but they just weren't able to create the chances they needed, something Ghana managed to do. In fact, Ghana would have been ahead by a lot more if it hadn't been for their own carelessness and sheer luck and skill by Cech. Considering that, Czech is lucky to have hung on, and it wasn't just luck, it was also determination and skill. At least their drive to score wasn't easily crushed out as other teams. I'll still root for Czech.
Keep in mind that they also had to play with 10 men. I think that was a waste of Ajfalusi. Some referees don't have the patience, and in soccer history, has the referee's decision ever been overturned by a player? or a coach? Nevah. So they should just put a sock in it and deal with it. Why do players never learn? Referees are too damn arrogant and proud and will never admit they are wrong. Fact of Football.
Polak, in my opinion, is a waste of time. He's so irritating! I just have a feeling that he wasted many interception and defending opportunities that others would have taken up. Czech is not a team of chance-wasters, but he's an exception. Take him off! He irritates me to boot. He's just not sharp enough! put him on a team like USA where he belongs.
What else?
Czech has a tough life in front of them, but goal difference will make a damn big difference. If they want to make final 16, they can only afford to lose to Italy by one goal. And Ghana will have to beat USA 4 - 0 if they wanna make it.
It can still swing either way. keep your eyes peeled!
Next is USA and italy. Should be pretty damn interesting. But I believe that Czech can still perform. They need lots of determination and luck. I'm a Czech fan alright!
Ghana however, has a lot of their key players booked for the next match. Czech's only missing Ajfalusi, who's been banned from the next match too. Maybe the odds are stacked against Ghana, but USA sucks, so we'll have to see.
World Cup Update
8:03 AM
I've just got back from the Portugal-Iran game.Iran vs Portugal: 0 - 2.
Well it's expected really. My take on it is that Iran did put up a fight. But although they were full of determination, it seems as though Portugal had at least that much determination - and more skill. This wasn't so obvious in the Angola game, because Angola could handle the ball almost as well as Portugal could, only that they screwed their attacks muchly. Iran was just so-so but you could tell a lot of work was in it. And they did try. It's just that Portugal outclassed them in the end. Portugal's a World Cup veteran, and lots of them have played for their country before, and they've had the experience of playing big playas. Iran has never, I think, made it to the next round. But at least they did put up a fight. And there was some joga bonito once in a while. Not bad.
Now it's the game we've all been waiting for - Czech and Ghana. It will be a helluva scary match. I'll probably be able to catch it tomorrow. But I'm scared. Please let the Czechs survive this. Other than my usual rooting for Japan and England, of which both I think won't make it to the World Cup (maybe England will make it to final 8 or semis if they're lucky), I'm highly in love with the joga bonito they play. I'm all for Czech for the World Cup. I enjoy their football.
Go Czechslovakia!
Two pieces of Good News.
1) I'm in the Dean's list.
2) Public Blog has been revamped and has my darling lover's face on it. *grin*
World Cup Update
9:17 PM
Sorry I wasn't around yesterday. When I got home I was too bushed.1) Argentina vs SnM: 6 - 0
Biggest margin of win we've seen so far. I suppose it's interesting considering that Holland didn't manage to get a goal off SnM last week. Is Argentina really that good, or SnM really that bad and Holland really that mediocre? I didn't manage to watch the match. When I saw the score last night at orchard road it was 1 - 0.
2) Netherlands vs Ivory Coast: 2 - 1
Ivory Coast is OUT with 2 losses. SnM has one loss and one draw, but the loss is a huge loss. If Netherlands wins Argentina (not likely) Argentina will still make it with Netherlands, and if they lose, they'll still be in the world cup, so it's pretty much decided. Because even if Ivory Coast wins SnM they already lost. Even if SnM wins, they had one loss already, where neither Argentina nor Netherlands have any right now. So I suppose it's pretty much decided for this group, who's going to the final 16.
If SnM wins, and Netherlands loses, they'll both have one loss and one draw, and the goal difference will now make a difference. If Netherlands lose by a larger goal difference than 6, then they'll be out. So that will be Netherlands' only concern.
3) Mexico vs Angola: 0 - 0
I'm not surprised Angola didn't get any goals. I think that would probably mean they haven't improved on their striking yet. Mexico - never watched them, but I'm not surprised because other than the striking, Angola's a passable team.
We have next Iran and Portugal. Mexico has already beat Iran, and Portugal has already beat Angola. People will be expecting Portugal to win this. Iran, considering its attitude displayed in the Mexico game, will not be expected to win. But if they want to make it in, they have to win this. Angola can still make it in the world Cup If they can beat Iran, and if Portugal thrashes Mexico by a goal difference of at least 2. Interesting. We'll have to see. Might not catch this one tho', lord of the rings 2 is showing and I'm not thinking that it'll be a remarkable match to watch.
At 12 am is Czech Republic vs Ghana. Ah. I recommend this match because Czech is playing. If they can win, Czech will definitely be in the World Cup. Italy beat Ghana but Ghana is on par with Italy. This is the match in which we hope the Czechs survive the violent Ghanaians so that we can see some joga bonito. Look forward to it.
Lastly is Italy vs USA. We do hope USA get thrashed as we always do.
Till then.

Hey! I tried to update yesterday. But blogger decided to be a piss. So...1) Ecuador vs Costa Rica: 3 - 0
Kept falling asleep, so I dare not comment, but I heard that Ecuador's good. Will be looking forward to Ecuador Germany . Look forward to it! I'm all for Ecuador going to the top instead of Germany.
2) England vs TnT, 2 - 0, Crouch, Gerrard (90th)
Crouch also scored very very late. It looked as if England might have to settle for a goalless draw. Lampard, according to a friend of mine, missed 5 chances, one of which I saw, and a disgusting miss it was. Owen was taken off and replaced by Rooney. But luckily he didn't do anything. I hate Rooney, I think his attitude sucks to boot. He seems so sure of himself. Oh well, maybe it's confidence. But I guess it's also prejudice, because a lot of people don't like Rooney. No real talent, they say, or something.
Crouch's goal was a header from Lennon, I think. Or somebody. AC was griping because he's too tall, but I guess that's just an advantage for headers. Gerrard's was terrific, from like a gazillion metres away and in. If you ask me, I thin Gerrard's passes are deadly accurate, and his precision football is the best. He's had a pretty good record for goals from far away, something that not a lot of people can boast. He's just plain yay yay, best midfielder in my eyes. I love him forever. Don't leave Liverpool, darling.
3) Sweden vs Paraguay, 1 - 0, Ljungberg.
Yuck! I hate that guy! he pisses me off!
I thought Sweden might come to another goalless draw, after the previous one, but hey, apparently they got lucky. Didn't watch though, and will not be able to catch the rerun.
I didn't miss anything did I?
Tonight is Argentina and Serbia and Montenegro. Might be a good match, SnM puts up a worthy fight. There's also Netherlands and Ivory Coast, can't comment because I've not seen IC play. Lastly, Mexico vs Angola. Might be nice to see if Angola's brushed up their striking skills lately.
It'll be important for Netherlands to win if they wish to make it to the final 16. They had a goalless draw previously, I think, and people are thinking that they'll probably make it to the final 16 anyway but SnM might put something up yet, and angola might decide to put a little bit of class in their football. you never know.

1) Ecuador vs Costa Rica, 3 - 0Important match for Poland in case Costa Rica. After watching Costa Rica and Germany, I thought that Costa Rica wasn't all that bad.
Is Ecuador that good?
I'm rooting for Ecuador to beat Germany. Be weird if they're better, I'm usually rooting for the so-called weaker teams.
But I'll admit I didn't catch much. During the first half, I fell asleep a lot. And I only caught bits and pieces of the last ten minutes. By then CR seemed like they had already given up. But I dunoe, I think they should think of Australia. The team who gives up striking loses, in my opinion. Australia was trailing 1 - 0 and they went and went like a rocket, as if they just wouldn't let it go. and it paid off. as if they couldn't stand the humiliation. if you ask me, you should just go and go at it like a rocket. don't be too overwhelmed by the striking, you can strike too. Try!
Like Poland. Just trying to keep it 0 - 0 - it's not a winner's strategy. it may be a strategy, maybe one of desperation, but mentally it's almost like giving up. And giving up is no winner's strategy.
Third goal was during injury time. I believe that CR just gave up during the last portions. Didn't catch enough of Ecuador but judging from the glowing comments, they are great. Look forward to the the Germany - Ecuador match, people!
Till then.

Haven't been watching, so just mere goal updates.1) France vs Switzerland: 0 - 0
heard that France was not up to expectations.
2) Brazil vs Croatia: 1 - 0, Kaka.
ditto, but according to my sister it was enjoyable. Croatian defense was good, although they weren't impenetrable. I think no defense is impenetrable. You just have to find that one second of weakness.
3) Spain vs Ukraine: 4 - 0.
Didn't hear anything about this.
4) Saudi Arabia vs Tunisia: 2 - 2.
Was following the live commentary. Tunisia's second goal was in the 90th. real sad.
5) Germany vs Poland: 1 - 0
only goal by neuville during injury time. I watched the last 20 mins or so. poland tried their very best, and I must say I'm not wowed by germany (I never have been) but the good thing about Germany is that they don't waste striking chances, and I think that this makes the world of a difference. poland seemed to have given up striking altogether. Foul was not worth it but people make mistakes. Poland can't blame itself except for its reluctance to not strike.
Tonight: Ecuador vs Costa Rica, England vs TnT, Sweden vs Paraguay. Sweden better win this one to make it to the next round. And if Ecuador manages to to beat CR, they'll be able to make it too, because Poland's gone, and they won't even have to win Germany if they beat CR.
England already has one loss. If it loses to TnT it'll have no choice but to beat Sweden. TnT may do something interesting. They kept their previous match with Sweden to a goal-less draw.
Till then.

Ahah, I'm right back. I know I said tomorrow, but I wanted to ask Chong out for lunch. I think I shall just SMS him though, if he doesn't turn up, but I sure hope he does. I hate smsing.Korea vs Togo: 2 - 1.
I did not watch. But Otou-san tells me that there was a red card to Togo. Sounds like a nice match to watch, but unfortunately I will have no chance to catch any of the matches tonight except for the 3 am one, when I get home from tuition - IF I manage to run my errands early. If not, I'll miss 'em all.
Thassit, till then, tomorrow. Cheers.
World Cup Update

AC's asked me to review on eljay, so I'm ripping it right off from there.Italy vs Ghana: 2 - 0
Commentator commented that Ghana had a base of European league players. Expected better when I heard that comment, but oh well. I do agree with him that it's quite a good match up, but it just seems as if Ghana is incredibly unlucky and Italy is incredibly ...lucky. Yeah. Goals are from, umm...what the heck? I forgot...well, truthfully I dozed in and out. I wasn't watching the live feed, but still, yesterday's despair and migraine has had it's toll. Definitely a better watch than, say, England and Paraguay.
Dirty - when Italy had their first goal it definitely heated things up. I don't really blame them for starting to kick the pretty Italians all over the place (exaggeration.). I would have really, I never was a huge fan of Italy. Not even a fan. I thought they should have yanked that pretty man with the pretty long hair hard, before the last whistle (they weren't gonna win anyway.) Hahahah! Yeah, I'm just jealous because in mourning, I lopped off my hair yesterday for Japan. I should have just done away my bottom layers and get a denise keller look.
The second goal was horrendous. They went one on one and the Ghanaian defender, Kuffour I think, just sort of went the wrong side, so the only thing in between the Italian and the goalpost was the goalkeeper who had an incredibly normal name that I cannot remember. He went too far in front, Italian went past him, got a clear view and wham. If he had missed that, he would have looked like an utter idiot.
Ghana probably made slightly more mistakes than Italy did, maybe not slightly, but they're still not half bad. They don't stink indiscriminately, at least, and I'd say any Ghana match should be alright to watch. Other than that, I still think that luck was on Italy's side, which made the difference.
Tomorrow's updates will come late because I will be out teaching until noon, and therefore may only catch the last match for today, before I catch the next round of matches. Probably all feed from Livescore.
World Cup Update
12:57 AM
Hit Count: 130Okay, this will be a long one. Two matches only though.
Blogger was a piss yesterday, so I had to do my review on Australia-Japan on eljay. Here it is, unedited.
1) Japan - Australia: 1 - 3, Nakamura Shunsuke 26th (I think), Cayhill twice at some disgusting time 84th yadda yadda and Aloiso if that's his name during injury time. This is a highly emotional review from me.
I can't write my review on the match because Blogger has decided that at these precious moments when I need to cry my heart out, it will just be a big piss. So I"ll write it here and shift it later.
Okay okay. I am absolutely not the type of person who will support a "good" team. I support the most craziest teams, like Angola. I love the underdogs. Okay??? Let's get that clear.I have fundamentally supported Japan since I was a kid. Okay, I wasn't watching when I was a kid. But for as long as I can remember, anyway. Because 1) I am ASIAN. 2) I will live there. 3) I will marry a Japanese guy.
Okay, I was a huge arse and wasn't expecting much from them. Seriously. But dammit, they got my hopes up!!! gawd, five more minutes until the final whistle!(give or take.) And do you know what it feels like to feel your heart shatter in a million tiny unbreakable pieces? The only time I cried for a football match was that match when Liverpool was leading 1-0 till the 89th minute or something. And they ended up losing 2-1. I'm trying so hard not to straight out burst into tears and thrash the laptop/TV/anything heavy.
(just let me be emo, okay? Period's due.)
Gah, I'm pathetic. Typical me, always getting my hopes up and seeing them screwed horribly at the end. why am i such a sucker for this?
Okay, getting down to it. They played a lot better, much better than I remembered 4 years ago. That was nicely surprising. Gave Australia a run for their money.
Kawaguchi was just plain good. But I'll have to say one thing. First half, was in Japanese favour, 'cos both the Aussie goalkeeper and the attackers would be facing the sun. And vice versa. He did really well for most of the time, saving everything until the last five minutes and some of them were downright killers. It was a pity though, that equaliser, that he had to make the mistake of going forward and miscalculating where the ball was going to land. And the next two goals was just a goddamn mess. I don't seriously think any goalkeeper can save that without luck. Close range is near to impossible. The pressure is disgusting.
But even though there was a vast improvement, there were some very crucial mistakes on the Japanese side especially on the attack. It was just plain ugh. A lot of good opportunities that were missed. I daresay that made the world of a difference between Australia and Japan, because Viduka attacks like a rocket (5 offsides says something) and everytime the men in blue get anywhere near the goal, they just sort of screw up, a bit like Angola. Pity, a real pity. Sigh. But it made the world of a difference.
But Australia is a good contender. I'll give them that. They'll probably get into the final 16. But I still want Brazil to thrash them really really bad. They may be good, but way out of Brazil's league. That will be the only time I will be supporting Brazil.
I'm kinda pissed my dad supported the Aussies. Like hello?? Major hello? where'd the Asian spirit go? And Daddy, your son-in-law is going to be a man from that side of the world. You better get your priorities straight.
//end review
That's taken straight out from livejournal. I was extremely depressed for the whole night. I woke up in the morning and the first thing that popped into my mind was this. But baking took my mind of things - but I was suddenly plunged into the abyss of despair overhearing the Malaysian news channel reporting it again. Doesn't matter what happens, Japan, I will always be behind you! (After all, I must get used to this if I am to marry a Japanese guy.)
2) USA - Czechslovakia (I hate typing that.) : 0 - 3
This made me feel tons better. It would have been a double blow if USA had actually won. I hate the USA's guts, doesn't matter what, I just hate every thing. Including their soccer team. So yeah, very happy. Pleasantly surprised to see Czech playing so well. It was wonderful to watch. Very solid defense. I'd say the winning point of this one was the defense. USA was unable to find that crucial weakness, C. went all out to defend, and it was a good effort that paid off. On the other hand, the USA wasn't that stinking but because they don't boast that kind of defense so it was to the C's advantage. Strike wise, the Czech don't waste any chances, almost none. USA's average. A very unlucky day for them.
Next match soon, I can't remember who - Brazil Croatia? Maybe? If so, be back later to report. Will be missing tonight's Korea match though, but might update with LiveScore when I get home. Cheers!
(When I say Cheers, I do not mean that I am holding out a mug of beer. I just want to tell the whole world to be happy. Without the mug of beer.)
ohmigod
5:00 AM
i misread!!! the Japan-Aussie game is tonight. looks like i'm not gonna get any work done tonight. i'll be missing the korean game instead. bah, who cares.
World Cup Update
4:08 AM
I managed to catch the last night's early morning matches this afternoon.1) Mexico vs Iran: 2 - 1
Only the last ten minutes, this. Unfortunately this only warranted me watching Iran giving up. So I have not many comments, actually I have none, but oh well, 2-1, not too bad.
2) Portugal vs Angola: 1 - 0, Pauleta 4th
I was expecting a whopper goal-fest from Portugal really. But then again, I've realised this: Portugal would be nothing without Figo. Absolutely nothing at all. Figo is the only hype there is. Other than that, there's nothing going about Portugal. Just an average team.
Angola was dead ass nervous. They looked like they were wearing shoes for the first time. I had lots of theories about their stumbles in the first few minutes. Either the shoe sponsors were cheapos or they had always played barefoot back home.
But after a while they got into their game, probably got used to it and probably realised that Portugal was nothing without Figo.
Angola was Joga Bonito. This is, I feel, the best game I have watched so far. Riveting and tiltillating. Angola surprises many many times. You know football starts with possession, and then the carry through and then wham! They were real good at the first two, but somehow they always sizzled out at the last part. Either a fumble, or a miscalculated kick, or just plain knocking it without style, a nothing-to-lose rambo attitude - I have no idea whether it's just the way they play or what. I certainly do not think they lack in skills, and if they could just tie up that last part they could be 2006's Senegal.
But of course, that last part made the world of the difference, which is why they probably wouldn't be 2006's Senegal.
Aqwa contributed to many of the rambo wild shots. I wasn't sorry to see him gone. But the nice thing about Angola is that I cannot single out a shining star. They all have strong, stable qualities - good ball handling, fair keeping, guts to intercept and play with a so-called Football Giant - I'll be supporting them for as long as they're in, unless they're playing Japan.
(not possible. unless they both make it to semis.)
Well, that's it for today. We have USA and Czech coming up at 12midnight, an evening game Germany time at about 6, I should think, and another match which I can't for the life of me remember. OH MY GOD, I just realised that I'm going to miss the Japan game life - Japan - Australia - oh well. Reruns are abound. I'll catch it - crap! I'm teaching the next morning!! Argh, I'm not fated to watch Japan!! Oh well, I suppose it might be less painful if they lose. I'll support them in spirit.
Besides, I might get pissed if they decide to suck, like England playing Paraguay. I'd rather be watching Joga Bonito matches like just now rather than just my favourite team sucking.
......not playing well.
*swats horrible brokeback images away and fails*
Tomorrow is a day of football reruns, which is why I let myself while the afternoon away watching football instead of doing work, because also there is no 3 pm (9pm) match and therefore tonight I can do some work. Argh, I still feel sad about the Japan-Australia game. Oh well. 'Tis a test of faith.
I survived teaching. yey.
World Cup Update
8:08 AM
Alright folks, I'm back for the next update. I meant to do this tomorrow morning, but I figure I might not get around to it and I would like to update while the match is fresh in my mind.1) Netherlands vs Serbia and Montenegro: 1 - 0, Robben (17th)
Official records dictate that he scored in the 18th meaning, but looking at the timer, it was 17:43 and he was running around hugging his mates, so I'm sticking with my version.
Very Owen-ish goal, get the ball, run like mad towards the goal with 2 defenders hot on both sides, nobody else covering the mouth of the goal, wham, in it goes past the goalie. If you ask me, the bravest of all goalies couldn't have blocked such a scary goal as that. Not bad.
Robben had a few half-assed attempts - okay, maybe they weren't half assed. Nistelrooy was taken off. Netherlands played as expected, although for a so-called strong team you would have expected some magic on the field, but England sucked worse.
SnM seemed as if they couldn't gel together. There were interesting bursts of individual magic, very skilled footwork and ball handling. There were even some good crosses - but passes sucked. Terribly. They had a smattering of corners and free kicks, all wasted. Because nobody was in the right position to pick it up and continue. So many missed opportunities. Football's a game of missed opportunities alright, but these were really really terrible ones to miss, where a good cross is just met with a blank stare - it's like they were shocked the ball came their way. If they were there at all.
All in all, SnM looked as if they could have done better. In terms of possession, handling, they seem to be able to give the Dutch a run for their money. But because they lack the good passes, and no seamless team work, it's all lost to the wind. But they put up some fight, although you get the feeling that they weren't burning to equalise. At the most, I felt that only one or two players were burning on their own, and everybody else just didn't seem to give the support. Disappointing, but hey, it's 2 countries merged into one team.
We'll be having Mexico and Iran in less than an hour, and Angola and Portugal after that. But nobody will be watching that, except for maybe a slice of Portugal action where Portugal will probably be predicted to give Angola a good whooping. I'll have the scores up tomorrow afternoon via LiveScore, but if I'm gonna catch these games it'll be reruns. I have to teach tomorrow, so no staying up at indecent hours. Besides, the cable telly's in the old folks' room. I"d probably watch it if it was in the living room.
I've decided to monitor my hits.
Last count: 120
just needed to get something clear.
6:17 AM
wouldn't be able to concentrate on the netherlands - serbia game otherwise.my mom apparently feels that I must tell her that I am going to teach AJ tmr. Well, yeah, I did want to tell her. But thing is I've sort of developed a ....couldn't be bothered kind of attitude. I mean, it's not that I'm so arrogant as to just walk out of the house without telling her anything. But it's like, why, what for? What difference does it make? Why should I waste my breath telling people things? It's not as if it makes me feel better. I'm not saying that I'm in the right, in fact I'm in the wrong for not telling her. But I would have. At least before I walked out of the house. I wouldn't have just upped and left. As for telling way in advance, I really would love to be a good daughter and screw up my courage to tell her where I was going all the time. But for these reasons I chicken out.
1) I'm afraid she'll nag at me because it isn't a useful activity.
2) She'll forget anyways.
3) I can't be bothered.
I am a bad daughter, I know that. But I just can't screw up my courage to tell her all these things that I plan to do because I don't even know how. So sorry ma. I'm just a huge chicken. Thassit, nothing else.
World Cup Update
9:11 PM
Mornin' folks! Tis the 11th of June, and we're back for another update. I have loads of things to do, in less than one hour before Japan Hour starts (the only show I watch faithfully) but well, the World Cup is important. And I figure people actually read this thing for this.
1) England vs. Paraguay: 1 - 0
This is pretty significant, being the first match I watched in the World Cup. How the heck was I to know my dad had actually subscribed?? But on a whim I popped in and yeah, he had!! So that means I have access to all .... 61 matches? (minus the first 3) Actually 6 have passed. Ah, who cares.
Anyway, by the time I had popped in, it was already 1 - 0 to England, by an own goal from Paraguay by the Captain Gamarra, no less. I thought to myself that the worst thing that could happen to a football player in a World Cup was to score an own goal. Really must suck. I pitied the man immensely. It was a corner from Beckham.
Beckham took most of the corners (all, I think). Gerrard had a yellow, Crouch let off a million free kicks and also a yellow (I didn't watch Gerrard's yellow though. It came in the first half, I popped in the second.) Lampard had 2 typical Lampard shots on goal whizzing straight for the goalkeeper. Goalies are very brave people to be able to throw body and soul into chucking themselves in the line of fire.
I was a goalie once. Well, I always offered to be goalie when I played football in school. But that was 'cos my team always kept the ball at the other side of the field.
Lampard was named Man of the Match, according to today's Straits Times. Oh, the Paraguayian goalie made a real good save on Lampard's first on-goal attempt. I would call it Save of the Match. I think it'll probably be the Save of this WC.
Robinson has also earned a nickname, Mighty Robinson, from the commentator for kicking the ball a good height...I heard it was what, 70 metres? I wasn't sure, but I think the ball landed eventually. The commentator said it made it to the roof. Funny man, the commentator.
Gerrard was great, as usual, but I had the feeling that he just lacked support. Beckham has awesome corner kicks. It's like, his specialty. You can feel the tension going up all the time. Gary Neville has always been in the World Cup since I watched it back in '98. Like a permanent fixture. He's alright. Crouch is amusing, and cute. And everyone complained it was too hot. Including Eriksson. They were boring though, as everybody complains. Really seemed as if they were off form. I think everybody thinks they could have done better. They're probably right.
Paraguay put up an okay fight. They were using the fact that England was feeling the heat to try and get in coupla' of jabbers but England always managed to scrape through.
2) TnT vs Sweden : 0 - 0
Didn't watch this one. But the first red card was given by our own Shamsul Maideen (Singaporean newspapers had to make a huge deal outa this) in this match. I didn't know he was refereeing or I would have watched. I figure that's the only reason Dad watched it, but even he gave up before 1.
Surprising. People were banking on TnT being whooped.
3) Argentina vs Ivory Coast: 2 - 1
Pretty predictable. Ivory Coast did good though, getting one off Argentina. Musta been a great blow. I hate all this spanky big-assed arrogant European teams / South American teams. I love the underdogs.
Additional: I caught a rerun of the opening match in the hopes of watching for myself how bad Germany's defense was said to have been. I fell asleep sometime in the second half, which could have been the clincher but I thought the defense was alright. I think they just wanted to make up the sorry excuse that it was their defense that was poor, and Costa Rica could never have been good enough to score. I don't think so, I think CR is not that bad. Could give you a run for your money, if I may say so. They don't suck, they definitely don't. Germany's not as strong as you might have expected from the previous WC but I didn't find their defense a shame either.
Klose's hair is terrible. He was a lot cuter before.
Ballack of course has no sense of style. He looks the same as he always did.
More updates tomorrow. Till then.
teh woops
12:40 AM
blogger is being excruciatingly slow. in fact, beyond excruciatingly slow. but let's not dwell on that. The Internet is but a creation of man.urh no ngaji today. Part of me is pissed because I coulda gone out with nadiah if i'd known earlier. The other part of me is Even More Pissed because I hate missing ngaji. I was just about to go to juzuk 4!!! That part of me is the most pissed of all, but oh well, what to do. Can't depend on people. I can't wait for school to start because hopefully kak mar will still continue with the tasmi' Qur'an. I'm beginning to figure out that she used sama'a for that one. I was wondering what it meant. Tahmid lah (hamada? being grateful?) tasmid lah (samada? lagi aku tak tau) then i realise it's probably tasmi'.
Anyway, I realised that I probably didn't really wanna go out with her and the rest of the guys today. I'm okay going out with anybody else but her, noor and malymaly. maybe maly2 pun ok. But not them. It's too weird. I know, I'm a very bad person. But sorry. Like I told mar, I don't want to be caught up in the entrapments of the past. (how poetic.) That's why I've decided to heck them and hang out with mar so that I can have some peace of mind. I also do not mind hanging out - not do not mind, but I still look forward to - with fiefie, nurul, shad yadda2. camy pun aku would avoid if i could. I'm a terrible person but sorry. My survival instincts are more important.
Not only today lah. For the rest of my friggin' life until I can look at them and not feel sad.
So yeah, made up excuses. Actually I didn't really, I really am busy. Tapie as far as possible aku takkan hang around with them. If I wanna go places, I'll just go myself. I'm probably tons happier like that. It's kinda cool strolling around Orchard like a lone cat.
But so far I haven't lied or anything. I don't think I need to anyway. I really am busy. I have said that a million times hahahahahhaa. I guess it's just that I don't feel the least bit sorry that I won't have the chance to hang with them. I'm perfectly content hanging out with chong, muk, hafie yadda2. that's from that gang. I'm perfectly fine with hanging out with hafie and joining silat with her.
but other than that, I'll probably spend my waking moments with mar or peiwen. or dollie. or reeza. non-gang people.
cheers.
World Cup 2006
4:09 PM
I have decided to make this place a World Cup Updates Centre. I'm too ashamed to show that I'm a soccer lackey on livejournal.Match 1: Germany vs Costa Rica: 4-2
Klose scored twice, some fella called Lahm scored early. Wanchope from Costa Rica (and West Ham) scored twice, first in the 12th minute. Damn, I should have gotten up and caught it after all. It would have been nice to catch Wanchope in action. Not that I like WH or anything, but at least it wasn't a no-brainer where Germany clocked them 17-0 or something. God knows who scored the fourth.
Match 2: Poland vs Ecuador: 0 - 2.
It wrote there "penalty shootout" on LIveScore but it's already 7 am for goodness' sake. Fake.
I wanted to wake up actually. But I figured heck, it was Germany and CR and Germany would wallop CR, and I figured I had tuition at 8.30 in the morning. Still. I ended up sleeping at about 2 am, due to normal insomnia and wasting the juice from my mp3 player cos I didn't switch it off while trying to lull myself to sleep. Figures.
Am now reduced to dling fakesubs for enjoyment. People who make complaints about fakesubbers are dumb. You're leeching off them, be a bit grateful. They may make whatever racist comments but hey, it's a free world. The least you can do is shut up and be grateful for your dose of free entertainment which they worked their butts off to make for ya.
tonight, tonight, tonight.
3:55 AM
I got hit again. I think I'm beginning to know why. It's probably cos I displayed this as my homepage on ff.net.Well, in that case - Hello, people who bother to read my author profile!! *shootself*
Anyway, that aside.
Oh my, I finally caught the fourth opening. It rocks muchly. But it only rocks because it's the opening for Bleach. By itself, hmm. I've hearda Beat Crusaders. I thought the name was friggin' corny. But I find this song soooooooooooooooo cheerful and sweet. And because this is the song that accompanies the images of Byakuya and Urahara in streetwear (nearly gave me a nosebleed.) it will rock muchly and forever.
Urahara looks soo soo soo hot. hawt. hawthawthawtdrool.
Byakuya is incomparable. Kubo Tite should be shot for creating someone as smexy as him. Hey, why's this place got no strikeout command?
Hmm. If you were to talk about Bishounen of Bleach, they'd be Byakuya-smexy-in-street-clothes, Urahara-loony-smexy-in-street-clothes, Hisagi-stud-in-street-clothes-or-even-better,nothing, Ichigo who just is Rawr, Ukitake-pretty-pretty-captain...Gin and Kira are for the leftovers. Iba is stupid, Ikkaku is bald, Yumi is a woman, and everybody else can go to ____.
Oh Kaien too. But he's like unrefined, married Ichigo.
Shirou's a kid, for goodness' sake. And Zaraki's a daddy.
i don't believe it.
8:59 AM
Once again, my blog got hit. I can only assume it's an IchiRuki or Ellegarden shipper.Or Bleach shipper.
Well, if you're a Bleach shipper, you'll be happy today. Nah, as if Bleach shippers wanna read about reviews about various couplings and stuff like that.
I just spent the whole afternoon, which was meant to be spent running errands in a better part of Geylang, whoring fics. And back episodes.
Sigh.
I found a RangikuGin that is great. But too slutty for me to add in my favourites. I mean, it was perfect because it described their relationship perfectly. Remember I said that GinRan is something full of bad bad sinful activities, and maybe a little bit more? Yeah.
Let's go bit by bit. I'm in the mood to blog about the pairings that I feel are worth my time. Canon or fanon.
1) IchiRuki - Duh, duh duh. I understand that it's probable that the author just intended plain strong friendship, but you can't even stop at friendship, sometimes. It's like....there's too many things involved, too many emotions, and stuff like that that makes you know that well, on the surface it probably is just that, but there's still plenty of room left for imagination.
For this reason, I don't believe that they belong with anybody else. not RukiRen, Ichiren, IchiHime orWhatever.
2) ByaHisa. Duh duh duh again. They loved one another. Like an author said, Hisana saying "i'm sorry I couldn't return your love" meant to me that she was sorry she had to leave before she had the chance to properly return the amount of love Byakuya had given her. But she loved him all the same.
For that reason, nothing else for Byakuya. Okay, i tolerate ByaRen, because they're just too cute, but that's about it.
3) GinRan - ditto ditto ditto. Nobody else.
4) Hinamori. Hmm. Hmm...now this gives me a bit of a ...well. From what I observe, I think Kira has a crush on Momo. Okay, you HitsuHina are gonna kill me, but somehow watching Hitsu and Hina childhood days makes it difficult to think that they are anything beyond brother sister. So I think KiraHina makes more sense to me. It hurt Kira so badly that he had hurt Momo.
5) Zaraki. Displays absolutely no love vibes, but that way, KenUno makes perfect sense. Because Uno displays no love vibes. not to me, anyway. And the whole "Unohana-taichou has Zaraki-taichou scared s__less" makes so, much, sense.
Everyone else is open for comment.
I'm okay with JyuuKyou, for one. I mean, okay, maybe it's all the fics or sth, but you have to admit that something awfully romantic about owning the paired zanpakutou together. As in, only them. yeah you get what i mean.
oh, yeah. 6) UraYoru - also...match made in heaven. because I think they're the only people who can stand each other.
Shuu.....he's too studly. I find ShuuYumi real cute. But part of me has been toying around with ShuuIse - the most eligible bachelor with his female counterpart. Sounds kinda cute. Nemu's too weird, SoiFong is Weird, Rangiku Nope, Nanao is...heeeeeeeeeeey sweeeeeeeeeet. I never thought of it. But she seems too sweet for the relationships type. Hmm. Let me see, who are all the people that exist?
Soi Fong, Gin, Kira, Unohana, Isane, Momo, Aizen, Byakuya, Renji, Komamura, Iba, Kyouraku, Nanao, tousen, Shuuhei, toushirou, rangiku, zaraki, yachiru, madarame, yumi, nemu, urahara, yoruichi, ukitake, kiyone.
Eligible guys - kira, Byakuya, Renji, Shuuhei, Ukitake? (he's too old and sickly.)
girls- SF, Rangiku, nanao, isane. thassit.
so Renji...Nanao???? hahahahha! that's pretty amusing, but i think he might prefer Isane.
Shuuhei - yeah, Nanao. It makes so much sense. no wait. nanao should go with Renji cos ...okay this is just tooooo messed up. it just doesn't fit. At All. Renji's more playful though, kinda funnier. And shuuhei is just quiet in his own way. yeah, i've fixed the eligible bachelors of Seireitei. pretty cool.
